Outdoor Storage
If you decide to opt for outdoor storage, our outdoor compound has been custom built with the main aim of keeping caravans in. On one side of the compound is the farm slurry pit, on the other side is a 5 ft high bank with blackthorn hedge on top and a sheep netting and barbed wire fence on the outside of that. The only road access to the compound is through our yard and through two sets of locked gates. When we place the caravans in the compound we park them quite close to one another, the reason for this is that it helps prevent wind damage and also prevents access to the caravan door, we then fit the hitch lock and or wheel clamp. We are in the process of adding both motion detection and dusk to dawn security lighting to the compound.
